Jess -
You have a fine collection of work here!  I'm happy to see that you've really taken advantage of the street photography opportunities that Seattle has to offer.  Oddly enough, I just happened to come across your Gallery 3 days before I return to Seattle for another visit. :excited:
Anyway, keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing your future work!

And your kind words mean a lot to me as well. :)
I love Seattle!  I'll be at a conference at the convention center, so most of my street shooting will be between there and Westlake, and some near the Market.  But there so much other stuff across Lake, Fremont, Ballard, Magnolia, and such.  And there's always Pioneer Square and Capitol Hill.  There's always something trippy going on there.  Whenever I come home from Seattle, I need 3 days just to recover from all the walking I do.  This trip I'll be shooting more film than digital, so I hope that goes well. :fingerscrossed:
It's good "meeting" you. And thanks so much for the :+devwatch:!

That's my favorite area to walk and shoot right now is between the market and Westlake center area. I want to explore and shoot some outher neghborhoods though like ballard and cap hill and all them. What camera will you be shooting the most? The TLR?

Cheers and glad you have 'met' you as well :D

I try not to be exploitive of the homeless, ever, but somehow especially around Westlake.  No, I rarely fly with the TLR.  For street stuff I'll use a Ricoh GR1S, which is a great compact film camera.
I'll shoot mostly Ilford b&w in it, but maybe some color around the Market. :)

Yes I'm the same way about the homeless. Taking pics of less fortunate people begging or sleeping etc is just an ugly photo to me. But there is a grey area if you know what I mean, I've learned just to read the situation and be tasteful. I'll look that camera up! I shoot street with my Fuji xt1 right now so it's not the most compact by not large either, if I have my pancake 27mm on it it's cool, but I just love my 35 mm 1.4 , which is larger so sometimes I'm not as discrete as I could be. I have a Olympus 35 TV rangefinder loaded with ilford 100 right now I might test out for street. This baby is extremely small. I have a cheap seagull TLR I'd like to use again. I miss medium format.. Cheers!
