I like the thousand-yard stare of the model. it suits the theme well. But I was wondering what the effect of closed eyes would have had instead... (imagines a photo of a woman with closed eyes and slightly uplifted chin savoring the scent of a familiar flower)
How about an old lady as the model?
I'd imagine that an old lady would be able to convey the emotion that you wanted to capture much more vividly and convincingly...
There is beauty in a faded flower too. Even the faintest hint of scent can bring it back to life in the mind's eye.
